Erik aka Umbra and his brother Vance aka Aecor have been tormenting the town of, Northtown, for as long as they've been able to walk. Of course, now they were no longer playing harmless pranks with their mysterious superpowers, now they were using them for true evil ... like robbing banks. Basically, they were supervillains. They would have completely taken over by now and done some much worse things than robbery. But of course, they had to be stuck with the most frustratingly strong arch-nemesis around, Lux. Well...Vance was stuck with him. Erik usually sat on the sidelines or did the less dangerous work, his brother would never put him in any sort of a battle. But that all changes when a new wannabe hero comes to town, an infuriating, arrogant, know-it-all called Ignis.
An infuriating, arrogant, know-it-all who's not very good at hiding his secret identity.

So when Erik finds out Ignis's identity, he devises a plan to seduce Ignis - or Gage - to get a better shot of destroying him. But what happens when Erik's own plan backfires and he finds himself getting some very unwanted feelings for the hero.
