Inhuman. That's one way to say freak. Mutant. What the media and most of the human population calls everyone that has mutant abilities, including me. Unnatural. What I am. Alone. Who I am. Prison. Where I am. What else needs to be said about the crummy world today? I wouldn't know. I've been in this cell for eight years without any direct contact to any living thing. If I did, I would've been able to get out of this place the first night I was brought here. My mutation is the 'ability' to talk to trees, flowers, and any flying creature, therefore being able to strengthen them and control them. I once made a flower petal cut through solid steel. This book is the past of my life and present occurrences of my half-dead life full of nothing but injustice.

Have you ever wondered what it's like being the only Kryptonian on earth without powers? It sucks. I'm Marinette Martha Kent. Yup that's right I'm the daughter of the man of steel....and I mostly take after my mom, so I'm utterly completely human. The worst part of being my father's daughter is I can't be a hero. His excuse is I don't have powers while there are heroes such as Green Arrow and Batman. An alien with no powers equals a worthless alien, and the entire justice league knows it to after all my father said so. At least I have my brothers who believe in me... I'm lying no one in my family thinks I can be a hero I'm just a dumb human to them. What's worse is even the bat family won't help me because they secretly agree, or at least that's what I think. So I did what any normal human would do when in an environment that doesn't believe in them I left. I applied for a 2-year foreign exchange program in France starting my high school year. (Wolverine's daughter fanfic) Alone in a mall parking lot, a seven year old girl catches her breath from running from her home as a special ops team had just tried to take her away. Her mother told her to run as she protected her, risking her life as she did so. As the little girl wandered the city, she stumbles across a man known as Michael Stryker. After years with Stryker and her memory of everything before she met him erased, she manages to escape, in the process-she comes across the X-Men and a mutant who shares more than just a similar mutation. Especially at night after my nightmares. The nightmares are roughly the same, the experiment that turned my dad into a big green monster but instead he doesn't survive the blast. What a lot of people don't know is that I was actually in the lab with him. I watched as he tested the machines to make sure there were no accidents or causalities. Everything seemed to be fine, until it wasn't. The machine malfunctioned and the gamma rays went out of control. Not only did my dad get hit but so did I. The effects weren't exactly the same obviously but they did the same job of giving the victims unnatural abilities. On my run I started to think more about the accident as tears streamed down my face and my feet started to feel like they were on fire since my body wanted to just give out and sulk. My mother chose to leave me, my father tried to leave me. What is it about me that repels people?
