The Kyrians are a race of natural born warriors, and as a result have a different physiology than their human counterparts. Kyrians possess enhanced strength, durability, speed, and senses that make them some of the fiercest warriors ever seen on Earth, with the greatest example of this being Yasharin Esraek. He was a true hero amongst his people, with his greatest feat being the time where he saved the entire Kyrian civilization from destruction by lifting a volcano and throwing it into the Great Ocean before it could erupt and spew lava into their city. The end result was a high reaching Pillow Basalt that overlooked the city where a huge statue was created in Yasharin's image. This location was named "The Great Rock." Three generations later, Eddie Esraek was born to two powerful Kyrians, Era'nin and Nisra. That combined with her great ancestor's blood coursing in her veins gave her a high ceiling and vast potential. About two decades later, Eddie's parents have both disappeared and she is a young woman living on the outskirts of Wynnera. She has chosen to live her life off-grid simply because she wishes to keep to herself, only journeying into Wynnera to get essentials she'd need to keep going. Her life has been fairly normal after childhood, however, she's still yet to realize her full potential, and as she struggles to contain control over her life Eddie must realize this potential... or die trying

Kyra is the leader of the Elementals and the general of their army, a fierce advocate for their rights. In a world where Elementals are bound by oppressive laws, she's a symbol of strength, never allowing her omega nature to show. Vulnerability isn't an option. But when her senses draw her to her scent matches, will she let herself surrender and embrace who she truly is-or continue to fight alone? Hudson has always fought for Elementals, driven by memories of friends taken to brutal training centers. As an alpha working undercover in the system, he's determined to dismantle it from within, even if it means keeping secrets from those he loves. Grayson, an alpha, dreams of building a pack. Though he's found strong, loyal packmates, the absence of an omega weighs on him. He craves someone who'll trust him wholly, someone to anchor them all. But years of disappointment have pushed him to focus instead on helping other Elementals navigate a hostile world. Ash, a beta, once felt insecure about his designation. But his packmates changed that, showing him unconditional love and trust. Now a skilled mechanic, he's the steady rock of the pack-but he knows they're incomplete. Finding the missing piece to their family has become his quiet hope. Riggs, the stoic alpha, values control above all. A traumatic past taught him how easily everything can fall apart, and now his vigilance protects those he loves. But the idea of welcoming an omega terrifies him-what if he fails to keep them safe? Still, the yearning for connection lingers, no matter how much he tries to bury it. For Kyra and these four men, fate is set in motion. Bonds will form, challenges will rise, and they'll all have to decide: will they let fear hold them back, or risk everything for the pack they've always longed for?

They took her. That's the last thing that burns in my mind, at least the most important thing that can come to mind. Everyone knew her, she was a sacred gem to the royals, her name was Tori LightningFlame. A dutchess soon to be married to Prince Spectre. That's how we all knew her, not how she used to roam through the walls of the city without permission (although I'm sure I only remember that), not how she would dance around the ballroom in her father's shoes with her friends until dawn. Everyone simply thought of her as a kind and generous person who would someday be our queen. But one day, Spectre thought differently, all I saw was when she was binded and screaming for help on the back of a horse driven carriage, guards yelling at her to quiet down or she would be burned. There was much talk arising in the lands after that day, some say she was taken and burned to her death miserably, others who speak the truth in our quaint town say she was taken away and cursed upon, making her a monster and could only thrive in her own world. Then we only believed that she was out of our lives and it was against the written laws to speak of her unless given permission. Even today, no one has spoken of her to me. And no one ever will. Possibly. When I was younger I heard most of the talk about Tori and Spectre being a stable boy, but it wasn't enough for me, I wanted a better job, I wanted to hear more about them, I wanted to be important there. So everyday for the past five years I've begged. And begged. And begged my father to let me at least attempt to become a squire. Ever since my tenth birthday I had hoped and wished for the day he would finally accept my plead. Every beck and call of mine was given in every form possible. Until one day he finally agreed. The day of my fifteenth birthday. It was an extraordinary day, one I could never forget.

AVAILABLE ON AMAZON & KINDLE On the planet Keodis, upon the western continent, Uestron, inside the Raesifiin Empire, in the small naval city of Cyripo, the story begins when thirteen diverse strangers answer a strange pamphlet to a quest. The quest is to find a powerful gem in the Deep Forest, and then to use what powers it bestowed on them to delve into the Mountain Barrier. There, they will have to find the Light to dispel the growing Darkness within. Though this qest is honorable and righteous, the dangers that await them are exponentially worse than they could ever imagine. Whether they can save the world depends on whether they can survive themselves. Mature rating for blood, gore and depictions of violence. TW: mentions of drunkards and beer, mention of physical abuses, a description of trypophobia, claustrophobia, and other phobias, and descriptions of nasty cryptids. There is no depictions or allusions of sex, no f-bombs, or drug abuse. This story was started when I was in seventh grade. I finished the original when I was a senior in high school. Displeased with the finished product, I began to rewrite it here, starting June 2015, then again in 2020. I am quite satisfied with the result, and am sure this will be the final edition. This isn't the first book of the series, but there's no spoilers for 'The World is Larger than it Seems', so you can start on this one. The story is far from finished, however, and I hope to eventually finish the series.
The Storm Empire by u8jlbooks
23 parts Complete Mature
The age of humans have passed, and the only survivors still lure around Arian, searching for a chance of life. Some survivors have even gone savage by slowly adopting animal-like traits and forming into empires based on their species. In the midst of these animal groups, stands one empire named Stormclan. Their cat ears and claws are no match against the other clan's abilities, but they still manage to survive through the usual conflict over prey and territory. Gray is the leader of StormClan. She is being pressured by all of the drama around her and all it does is make her want to scream. Her past has always made her stronger, but adding her current situation to her past trauma seems to be slowly killing her. At the same time, her sister, Crystal never fit in since came back from running away when she was younger. With her multiple piercings and her sharp attitude, everything about her seems to be foreign to the other nekos. The wolves from Ashclan are slowly starting to tear their clan apart, and a castaway empire comes back to town. Nothing is in place and the gears of destiny are rusted in age. They must answer many questions. How will they defeat the tyrants? How does their past play a role in a situation they never meant to get themselves into? And most importantly, which secrets will be exposed? To go through this, Crystal and Gray may need strength that they never knew they had. Strength that they don't know how to find. Strength that is powerful enough to create a storm. Rated "mature" due to graphic violence, depression, and suicide scenes that may not be appropriate for younger kids. Age 12 and above.
Exile: The Book of Ever by JamesCormier
30 parts Complete
Centuries after the Fall, the United States has been wiped away. The crumbling remains of the great American empire are home now only to savage, lawless tribes and packs of ravening Damned-the twisted children of the apocalypse. Most of those few who survived humanity's destruction spend their short lives in a violent struggle for survival. But some light still flickers in the darkness: the Blessed of Bountiful live in seclusion, relying on walls both physical and spiritual to protect them from the Desolation that their world has become. Among them are the Saints, those few men and women born with superhuman abilities that the Blessed see as gifts from God. The violent apostate tribes of the Northeast Kingdom have always been a danger, but up until recently its small size and the vigilance of its people have made Bountiful an unappealing target. As attacks on the community grow harsher and more frequent, however, even the steadfast Blessed are forced to start preparing for the worst. With her home's very existence threatened, seventeen year old Ever Oaks, a Saint with the power to heal, is forced to make a difficult choice, one that may come to define her people's future... Exile was a semi-finalist in Mark Lawrence's Great Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off (#SPFBO). Fantasy Faction said it was "extremely cool," and Bookish Lifestyle called it "more than just a story, a journey and an experience." When I'm asked about it, I often describe it as "X-Men meets The Walking Dead." In addition to reading it here for free, you can buy Exile in e-book or paperback on Amazon.com.
