The story follows 16 year old Foi in a world after World War 3. Children are taken away from their family's and everything they know before the age of 3 and taken to Cassée, where they are trained.
Foi is trying to find out who she is and what she is meant for while the Council is acting weirdly and everything that seems to be getting better, gets worse.
