Nikki Fisher has made it big- Lead actress in the new movie "Blood Codes", she has her entire life where she wants it. She has the famous boyfriend, the multiple apartments in big cities like NYC and LA, and even has a small condo in Canton (hey, a girl has to go home sometimes to visit). But eventually, her perfect life begins to crack. Her boyfriend, golden superstar hockey player Brandon Parsons gets caught cheating on her for the third time in a row, she saves herself and breaks up with him, leaving her single for the holidays. Expecting to show up at her parents house with Brandon for Christmas, she was running out of options for a replacement. Maybe she didn't need one...
Flynn Anderson, Purple Heart medal recipient for saving his squadron from a full attack from a league of insurgents, is in a bit of a pickle. Canton, a tiny town that no one knows about, everyone knows everybody, which means they know everything about everybody. Trying not to be seen by everyone in town, his plan is to lay low until his next deployment out to Haiti. Or at least, that was his plan until he runs into Monica Fisher, the mother of the woman he once loved years ago, and is invited to her coming home party.
