Nothing good could possibly come from what their captors have in mind for them. Renefaire is rescued and taken care of by the navine; a tribe of nomadic humans who are practiced in the arts of medicine. With no home to return to, she begins to learn the ways of the navine's medicinal practices so she can help others the same way the navine have helped her. But still, she longs to return to her home, to find if any more of her people survived the attack on their home. Their stories took different turns, yet their paths have been destined to cross once again in the future for something much bigger than they ever could have imagined. ~*~*~*~ This is a really old draft. Let's not forget the most important part, they can't fall for each other because that just takes the stakes up, you don't just wake up and get attracted to an assassin so you can be used as mafia bait, basically destined not to work.
