In the shadows, something hungry lurks through the very small town of Greasy Corner. Some say the town is haunted with ghosts, others say it's just the cause of the weathers energy. Though the facts just don't sit still with one person, Lily Flyer.
Lily was curious, and curious people always seem to find themselves within the dark. Children were always going missing and Lily might have just realized she might be next.
Her group of friends were always by her side. Together they would have to face a entity more powerful then the rest of them and overcome their worst nightmares.
Though one secret will be revealed, and the truth will bleed more painfully than the bloodied smile.

This story is about a 16 year old girl named Melody Swift. Ever since her mother died, her so-called "father" started abusing her. Kids at school are cruel, they bully her brutally just because she's different. She simply waits for everything to get better, after all what's the point in trying when the world will do whatever they can to drag you down. Her only escape from this twisted reality is a creature named Shadow. A terrifying creature that is somehow more humane than the so-called humans around her. Shadow could easily take all her problems away, but Melody refuses to take the easy way out. That is, until she just couldn't take it anymore, she takes Shadow's offer and soon her life got better. Her bullies started disappearing, showing up dead in the woods. Their bodies badly mutilated, almost unrecognizable. Life at school started getting better, she finally had human friends and even a boyfriend. Her "father" was found dead at her house. The torture had finally ended. Unfortunately this story doesn't have a happy ending, after all karma always strikes back.Zakończone
