Frankie is in a small snowy town for a week visiting an old friend really old. Just a little story to write on in my spare time. I will probably edit it a lot so don't expect the story to stay the same. Constructive criticism is welcome.

Okay, so I'm really bad at descriptions so here's my attempt at a small summary: Basically the protagonist of this story is searching for her friends little sister who's gone missing. Her search brings her to an unsavoury location, and the awful weather isn't helping her out much either. As she journeys deeper she soon realises that her suspicions were correct - an old 'friend' has returned, and this time they don't plan on letting our protagonist get away... So how was that? Her life is turned upside down from one simple decision. And she learns the real reason behind her attraction to this man. ---------------- I slowly walked closer, resting my hands on his chest. He looked me up and down, taking in every ounce of me. I came to a stop and looked up into his golden eyes. He was staring holes into me, trying to figure out if I felt the same way he did. I slowly moved my hand up, caressing his neck and jaw. He moved his hands up, wrapping them around my waist. We were both staring at each other understanding what we both wanted. I slowly closed my eyes, leaning into his grasp. He lowered his head and scanned my lips. It looked at though he was asking for permission. Before he could ask I snaked my hand into his hair, pulling him in. Our lips met and I felt his warmth corrode into me. He was pulling my waist closer, and I was pulling his hair. He has a weird need to protect her... From everything. Which means finding out about her past... Will he soften up around her, or keep is bad boy dangerous ways? What happened when his fighting life comes into his normal life? What will happen when they find out about Dylan? Will Mason be able to keep her safe? She's dead by the third chapter. Okay, it's a bit more complicated than that. Okay, it's A LOT more complicated than that. Renata wants nothing more than to pay her bills through her mildly boring office job and figure out whether she is still in love with her best friend. The latter half of that desire is just a sneak peak into her messy life-and it's only getting messier. Considering the paranormal world she is about to dive head first into, she will come to realize that figuring out her heart may just be the easiest part of this journey. Well, the endless supply of supernatural hotness in this story may beg to differ-but that's besides the point. Either way, it's gonna be a killer time ;) EXCERPT Chicken tacos it is. Right as Renata grabbed the ingredients, she turned to put them next to the stove, where a clean, plastic cutting board awaited. But as she moved, she was confronted by a stranger, an intruder, standing mere inches from her. Before she could scream, he was on her, slamming her against the fridge. Her back flashed with sharp pain. Her eyes pricked with fear as she drank in his uncovered face. Deeply tanned skin. Ruby red eyes-ruby red eyes? Thick, slashing eyebrows. Flat, broad nose. Buzzcut. Handsome. That was as far as she would go in complimenting him considering this guy held a knife to her throat. When he spoke, his voice came out like thunder. It held a thousand threats and a thousand secrets. It held promise of pain if provoked. "If you scream," he warned, mouth pulled in a slight snarl, "this ends quickly." She didn't dare nod against the blade. He noticed and amusement lit up for just a second in those devilish eyes. Oh, whoever the fuck this was, she already hated him. Considering her predicament, panic was the most prominent emotion coursing through her at the moment. "Good."
