Millions of years ago, the gods of day and night created for the world four deities known as Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Autumn became a fearful deity, for it was the season that brought death, and no matter how beautiful that death was, it was always inevitable, slow, and terrifying. This is the story of Autumn's reawakening, and the unavoidable destruction of the world that feared it so.
