They say that everyone deserves second chances, and that the second life was created so that people could learn from their mistakes on Earth, and try to forge a new life within this world.

It is a journey to Heaven, and a long road ahead, and Tomioka Giyuu finds this out for himself after his passing on Earth.

Reunited with an old friend, the two journey on the almost everlasting road to heaven, in their life after death, or the life before afterlife.

This is their second life after all.
