Book 1 of Victor's Adventure - 1st Place (Fantasy) - The Wildwood Awards 2020.
In the magical land of Solandia, sun fairy prince, Victor, receives a curse of mortality from a dark-hooded figure on his baptism day. He is obliged to learn complex magic and self-defense skills at the age of eight, forced to leave Solandia when he turns thirteen and lives with humans.
While he struggles to live a mortal life, the sun orb, the source of life and magical power of all sun fairies has been stolen, and now in the hands of the dark-hooded figure. As he sets upon his quest of finding an antidote to the curse, the King and Queen wage battle against the dark-hooded figure, and the forces of light and darkness erupts.
Not until the dark-hooded figure is found and destroyed, Victor will remain mortal. Unless the sun orb is retrieved, the peaceful land of Solandia will live in darkness and all the sun fairies will perish forever.
