A dark coming of age story of a normal girl with a typical life living in a normal town. But as life continues its cycle, dark days come. Though it's too dark to even see a glimpse of light our protagonist sees hope in someone who is the darkness itself. She saw hope for redemption of someone who's not capable of empathy and love. She accepted roses full of thorns and was comfortable with radioactive affection. Somehow, when the darkness seems to be invisible to her eyes, she never knew she was already consumed by the darkness itself.

TRIGGERING WARNING AHEAD
There would be a lot of narrative descriptions of or extensive discussion of substance abuse, sexual abuse, toxic relationship, trust issues along with descriptions of or extensive discussion of self-harming behavior such as suicide, self-inflicted injuries, or disordered eating habits.
