For others, the one picked for them, to put it lightly, is absolute hell on Earth. The soulmate picked is based on their marking. A tattoo picked for the uniqueness of the pair. In a world full of different types of quirks, the tattoo is a mixture between the two and is never the same as another pairs mark. The dominant one of the pair is allowed to pick where it is placed, but of course, it is located in the same spot as the other.


 That is why when Bakugou Katsuki finally gets his own soulmate marking, he is everything but delighted with the placing of it. However, his Soulmate isn't as bad as she seems. Or is she? The ink is invisible to everyone, which makes it even harder to find your soulmate. The pen can change colours when the person writing is feeling a different emotion. Most colours have multiple meanings. The shade of the colour depends on how strong or light the emotion is, for example, if your soulmate is extremely angry, the writing will be dark red, when their slightly irritated, the writing would be a light/pastel red.
