Long ago a great war was unleashed between the world's factions, a war of greed and hate. With an unexpected twist of fate an ancient evil would awaken to mark an age of calamity. Forcing each of the world's factions to discard their prides, acknowledging what was coming would affect everyone. They formed an alliance, with the best chosen among their Elders. Six heroes that would later be know as the world's protecters. A war against a being of despair and malice, was not in the capacity of a mortal. A legend of this ancient battle recited that these six heroes could not defeat the calamity, only imprison it for 5000 years. Such a close defeat of humanity, a heavenly spirit fell and gave the grace of immortality to the six. With the condition of being reincarnated every millenia to keep guard. Yet this legend provided an extra yet more interesting passage, it spoke of a greater hero being blessed into existence. Fate begins to pace, 5000 years have accumulated since. The same calamity that threatened the past will once again ascend.

As fate is not such a fascinating phenomenon a seventeen year old by the name "Alaricus Vermillion" moves back to his home town where everything changes for the worst. He later gains knowledge of his unique being when he is forced into a battle of life and death against an unknown threat. Following these strange events, a secret organization seeks the boy's help for they believe he is the hero the legend spoke of. The story follows Alaricus in discovering who he truly is. For the world will need him if it wishes to survive.

The hope of saving the world now rests on the shoulders of one young man. Can he stop this evil before it rises again? Or will the darkness snuff out the light and reign supreme? Find out in the first exciting installment of The Chronicles of Arnora: The Curse of the Blood Moon! My story takes place on a alternate Earth, in the fictional realm of Arnora. A place abundant with magic and full of different races such as Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Witches and Wizards. I've taking inspiration from some of my favorite well known sources to bring this story to life. Some of them include The Lord of the Rings, The Witcher, Eragon and even Harry Potter. If you enjoy epic fantasy stories then I think you'll enjoy my story The Chronicles of Arnora: The Curse of the Blood Moon. This is an original story of my own creation with my own original characters. Before I started publishing my story on Wattpad I've had several people read it and they've told me it was good and they enjoyed reading it and I hope you all enjoy it as well. I've always been told I have a very active and creative imagination and I should use that i it a like and follow for more chapters to come. Please feel free to point out any grammatical errors you find that I may have missed as I'm constantly editing the story to make it better. *If any names in my story are that of real world people it's completely coincidental, I use a random name generator, which creates countless names, to help with the naming of some of my characters.

{COMPLETED} "now that you've had your fun electrocuting me, would you care to hop in the backseat?" ---------------------------------------------------------- Freak DNA. That's what I like to call it. The fault to my genetic code. More often than not, it's a curse. The static running through my blood gave me a name. A cruel, daunting label of a measly bug. A roach. That's what I am to them, to the government. Roach; the nameless monster with electricity for a sense and lightening as a second nature. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. Rise of Fire: Dragons Reborn [COMPLETED] by RosaleeRain
49 parts Complete Mature
The world had long since forgotten the age of dragons, those creatures that had once ruled the skies as gods had long since disappeared after the conclusion of the Great Demon Wars. Dragons became nothing more than a fading legend, a story to tell children at bedtime. But the gods could not let the dragons die, for they were the last defense against the demon armies and the dark god Vekkar. Talia had been born and raised in a world of darkness acting as an agent of Hephatus, goddess of assassins and death. She knew only a life of killing, sometimes for justice, sometimes for honor, always for money. Her morals were opaque at best. But when she's deployed to the city of Arboros she finds herself thrust into a world of political games, opposing powers, and constant threat. Nowhere was safe even for her. Her goals became muddied, and then lost altogether when she meets the Dwarven Prince. Bromyr had spent the last five years of his life chasing ghosts, desperate to find the lost dragon eggs. His people thought him crazy, his father stripped him of his titles, but he never gave up. Eventually his effort bore fruit and he hastily made way to return to his homeland only to get caught up in the city of Arboros. It was there that he met an intriguing half-giant, a woman who ignited a fire everywhere she went. In the end she was the one who inadvertently brought about the new age of dragons. What could go wrong when an ill tempered assassin becomes the first dragon rider of a new age? ***Cover made by annie1loves1you***

As a Cursed elf, one born with no magic, Edwyr has been forced to live among humans for over ten years. He doesn't mind his job of defending the town that he now lives in from beast attacks, and he gets along with most of the humans well enough, but he can never quite make the bitterness and resentment over being exiled go away. Life goes on as usual until a talented but inexperienced elf named Feyrith arrives and tells Edwyr that the High Elven Council wants him to help Feyrith on a quest. Despite his hatred towards the Council, Edwyr ends up agreeing, if only because he doubts Feyrith can survive a trip like this alone. The task is to investigate strange magical energies in a ruin a few days' travel away. Edwyr assumes that the only thing to worry about will be avoiding getting killed by the jungle wildlife, but the mission turns much more complicated when they stumble across a conspiracy that aims to change everything about the elven society.
