Sorumeito : the Japanese word for soulmate.
In this world, 80% of the human population has a power called a quirk. However, something else effects daily life as well; Everyone's vision is in black and white. It's not until you meet your soul mate does your ability to see color activate. Along with that, everyone has the ability to communicate with their soulmates by writing on themselves.
Katsuki Bakugou doesn't really care enough to meet his soulmate. He's fine with seeing in black and white for the rest of his life. However, his soulmate is rather persistent, writing to him everyday. Bakugou wishes he didn't have a soulmate.
Eijirou Kirishima wants nothing more than to find his soulmate. Living in an abusive household where no one has cared for him his whole life, all he wants is to be held by someone he loves; specifically his soulmate. He writes to his soulmate everyday, but never gets an answer. At this point, it seems like he doesn't have a soulmate. Kirishima wishes he had a soulmate, or at least one that would answer.

This is a kiribaku story so if you don't like the ship don't read this story. There's gonna be fluff and angst.They have quirks, and almost everyone has a soulmate. You have a thick line on your wrist that represents your soulmates hair and a thin line underneath that represents your hair. If you or your soulmate colour their hair the line is going to change colour on both of your wrists. When you kiss you will feel a jolt kinda and the line will disappear if you truly love them and all that, If you confront them and you don't love them romantically and they feel the same it will also disappear though it won't happen overnight it will take a little longer. Soulmates. The most talked about topic in the world. You can use a special pen to write on your arm. Whatever you write will appear on them. The ink is invisible to everyone, which makes it even harder to find your soulmate. The pen can change colours when the person writing is feeling a different emotion. Most colours have multiple meanings. The shade of the colour depends on how strong or light the emotion is, for example, if your soulmate is extremely angry, the writing will be dark red, when their slightly irritated, the writing would be a light/pastel red. You cannot write certain details to your soulmate, like your name, country, address, school, on your body. You CAN however, give them a nickname that only they can use. You may be wondering, how do you find your soulmate? Well, it's very luck based. You'll feel unnaturally drawn to the person. To finally find out if you're soulmates or not, you'll have to kiss. Once you kiss them, a beautiful bright light surrounds the both of you, binding your souls together for eternity. Kirishima is a bright and bubbly person who is rarely upset. When he IS upset, he doesn't write to his soulmate. Due to his... rough childhood, he never really wrote to his soulmate until the end of middle school. He constantly doodles on his skin but quickly wipes it away even though the ink is invisible and only he can see it. His soulmate, on the other hand, is a handful. Bakugou constantly writes to his soulmate about his problems. When he was a kid, he thought he didn't have a soulmate due to everyone else in his class talking to them as soon as they could write but his would never answer. Once his soulmate finally wrote to him for the first time, he was overly excited, though he wouldn't admit it out loud.
