just when we feel comfortable,
this uncertainty sets in:
who are we really?
and it becomes unsettling,
when we realize,
just how little we know
about ourselves
compared to how others view us.

just some poetry i've written over the years.
these poems tend to focus on the uncertainty of life, anxieties, and depression

they are written straight from my own experiences and thoughts so many of these poems are kinda personal, but nonetheless, i hope you enjoy them. :)

it's also kind of a dumping ground for whatever poetry i write and like. :)

*just a heads up, these poems describe things about depression that may trigger some.*

Swoosh - a book of breezy poetry

200 parts Complete

Some of the least poetic poems you'll ever read, written by, you guessed it, me! These are some thoughts and feelings that I tried to put into words. I started writing poetry regularly back in January, so the poems in this book kind of tell the story of my life in 2018, since that's when I wrote them (except for the first seven poems, which I wrote in the summer of 2017, plus a few others that I indicate are old). Some of them are kinda random though. Warning: contains whining about my ex, anxiety, being nostalgic, and being very emotional. May cause varying levels of cringing. {Completed November 29 2018}
