harry and draco have always been rivals. that's just the way things were.
were. past tense.
everything is different now. the war is over but harry is broken. he has been broken so many times that he cannot begin to place back together his shattered pieces. he is a mess of torn photographs, faded and drained of color.
he isn't sure how to escape the nightmares that have become his reality, dreams that are simply memories of times he has refused to think of, to dwell on.
but somehow, when he's with draco, he feels everything he's refused to feel.
