In the continent of Ragnarok, a king strives to keep his kingdom safe. Being one of the four that make up the land, he rules his empire alongside members of a council who run the entire continent. As their influence is present in the guilds of merchants, crusaders, and wizards as well as other affairs, the King simply aims to protect his kingdom against any forms of evil. However, when a looming threat begins to steer in on Ragnarok, the four kingdoms that make up the land must steer up a strategy to counter what may interrupt their era of peace. To combat this, the King who bears the Golden crown orders upon the selection of heroes to be gathered from across his empire in order to oppose the malice of darkness and restore balance to their kingdoms once more.

The Divide was a bridge Realm between Terra and another similar realm, but the gateways between them were closed due to conflicts and potential threat to the Divide. Six protectors guard the realm, each protecting a given territory and a people within such territory. There had been peace within the Divide for Millennia, with the exception of the few who who wished to challenge the protectors at the peak of each month for a request. If they were to win, they would be granted a request the Protector must fulfill. Only one has beaten a protector and he now is threatening the peace of the Divide forever.
