Ruby Vincent loved detectives and her favorite movie was Die Hard. But each job she took as a temp, or secretary, her serious manner and wanting to do her own thing got her fired each time. She wanted to be around them, but she wasn't trained to be a cop. Might as well fetch coffee for them. The 99th Precinct was hiring secretaries and she desperately needed this job! Join her adventures as she tags along with the gang. One certain member has caught her eye. Will she find love or heartbreak?
