"I tried so hard, and got so far, but in the end, it doesn't even matter."
- -
Slaying Demons was what you devoted yourself to, ever since that night happened, and traumatized you. What was worse, it didn't even happen to you, and the pure rage and sadness you felt was so real.
Ever since that somber night, filled with echoing sobs and the mild breeze blustering by, wafting the smell of blood; you promised yourself to join the Demon Slayer Corps, and protect not only your own family, but others' as well. You trained with your best friend under an ex-Demon Slayer woman named Bēru Tsutsuma, who taught you the distinct art of Mist Breathing. It was a grueling few years, but it all payed off, and joining the Corps was only the beginning.
-
After completing a mission with a few other members of the Corps, the five of you just began to travel together, as it just somehow worked out; considering you all were the lowest rank, it was nice to have a small group to rely on.
Though, for you, this may prove a bit difficult, as the three new recruits you picked up seem to have
their own admirable attributes.. but you couldn't think about that, could you?
But what if?
- -
"I had to fall, to lose it all, but in the end, it doesn't even matter."

((This story includes gender/pronouns insert as well as names, so whichever you identify as, any is fit for the dialogue and descriptions))
((WARNING: Descriptive Gore and Violence, Mild Language))
How was it that, as the day began to wind down, you found yourself falling from more than 60ft in the air?
No matter what, there was no stopping you. You were going to make it up to him, he was your brother after all.
"How Flamboyant! You speak English?"

What was there to say?
It's not like you could tell them everything with all the details. It might not seem too crazy knowing that they're making a living from killing Demons. But the idea of you coming from a whole different universe? No, the most you could talk about was the fall. It would better explain to them why you reacted the way you did with Zenitsu calling you an Angel... and maybe lighten the nightmares.
And you tried.
