Summer In Jersey

Alexandria De Marco, 23 years old, cousin to Vinny. Lost her husband and father on her mother's birthday a year ago. What happens when she gets to Seaside?

"Alex, what was it like being with Anthony?" He asked.
"It was like a dream come true. He was everything I could ask for and he gave me everything I wanted." I smiled at the memory of him asking me to marry him. "He asked me to marry him a couple of months after we started dating. He took me to the beach and had a little dinner set up and after we got done, he asked me." I looked at him. "I know you aren't him and I never want you to be like him, but you two share the same attitude and it's endearing how much you two are alike, but polar opposites."
"I know I could never replace him, and I never do want to replace him. He was your first love, but I want to be your last." He said kissing my hand.
"I want you to be my last love, too." I kissed his lips.
We fell asleep and the baby slept through the night. When they came in, Vinny went and slept on the couch, because he knew better than to disturb the couple.
