She'd hunt for her family with her friend and would exchange some wild game with the on and off boyfriend she had, son of the baker. Her life was hard. And so she watched with envy those kids that got fed for nothing, taught to handle themselves so that in the future they could control them. ------------------------------------------------------- How will life turn out if two of these people get to meet under different lights, in the 74th arena of the Hunger Games?

Vivus Redis, a seventeen year old boy from district 13, is being reaped. Will he survive and see his best friend and family again? Or will he die a horrible death in the arena? And what's up with all these mockingjay symbols? "Why?!", yells Res as she enters the room. "I told you to not do that! I told you that over and over again!" But is her talent and skills enough to get her through the games? Or will it fall short and put her with the other 23 tributes who didn't survive?
