(Originally The Southern Water Tribe Firebender) When a pair of twins were born under a terrible storm they said the spirits were displeased with the Southern Water Tribe's leader. Some believing his bloodline was tainted. Cursed. Kallik grew up knowing she was different. Often keeping her distance from the rest of her tribe after the incident involving her late mother. It was safer that way. No one would know her secret that way. Which is why after she and her siblings found a boy frozen in the ice, she realized how hard that secret would become. Especially with a prince hellbent on capturing them hot on their trail. ------- Yes, it's finally time to give a proper OC and rewrite to the fic. Y/n, younger sister of Zuko, and elder to Azula. It was believed that her destiny was to be one of the strongest firebenders the nation had seen. So why wasn't she? Once old enough for her to learn, it was discovered that Y/n was no powerful bender. Even after intensive training, Y/n still struggled to light a campfire. Although it was first prophesied that she would amount to great things, she was tormented by most of her family. When Zuko was banished, his father thought of it as a wonderful opprotunity, so he sent Y/n along with him. But she wishes not to live the life of her elder sibling. She doesn't want to follow the destiny of chasing the avatar. She wants to write her own destiny. The Lunar Warrior [ATLA FF]
As the eldest son of the chieftain he was tasked with protecting the village when his father left to aid in the war. As an older brother, he has to take care of his younger siblings Sokka and Katara. After their mother was killed, too much changed. He didn't have time for fun and games with war on their borders. To keep his remaining family safe he had to close off his heart and train relentlessly for the battle he knew they'd face eventually. The Avatar wasn't coming back. Or at least, that's what Ayaan thought, until a bald kid with blue arrows showed up.
Southern Chieftess (Sokka's Wife)
At the age of sixteen, Sokka married the adopted daughter of Bato, Lamia. Shortly after, he's made Chief after the death of his father. Now Chief Sokka is fighting at sea where his father left off, and Lamia is at home taking care of the tribe with her sister-in-law. In which the wife of Sokka takes his place on the Avatar's journey. Or a broken marriage can be fixed with time.
ATLA: Book One: Water |Makki|
Avatar: the Last Airbender Fanfiction Zuko x OC Makki is the twin sister of Sokka and the older sister of Katara. She is one of the last Southern water benders, along with her sister. At the age of ten, she lost her mother in a Fire Nation raid, right at the South Pole; all she has left is her mother's necklace, which Katara wears around her neck. After that, her father left to fight in the Hundred Year War, along with all the other grown warriors, and Makki and her siblings were put under the care of their Gran Gran. She grew up practicing her bending and helping Katara with all the chores, while their brother practiced his fighting skills and tried teaching the younger boys of their village. Makki's siblings followed their destiny of helping Aang master all four elements while Makki was stuck on a path with the Fire Nation Prince Zuko and his uncle Iroh. The three of them would cross paths with Aang, Katara, and Sokka, but Makki would always have trouble reuniting with her siblings, so she would try her best to show Zuko the right path. It's only a matter of time before the three restart their journey. I do not own any of the artwork or story shown in this book. I only own the original character Makki and her actions in the book. Ruka (ROO-KAH) is the middle sibling between Sokka and Katara. Unlike her younger sister, she didn't believe the avatar would return and save the world. Ruka isn't afraid of violence. That's her main source. She's strong, brave, and independent. Also, a gifted waterbender. She loves hard and is compassionate towards others.
