On a planet far away, a crawling flower shaped alien with many legs finds an injured human named Andrew. They have no idea how he got here, or what species he is. Andrew is only twelve years old.  He remembers being captured and brought here by scary, mean creatures, and then the ship crashed. He woke up with a broken arm and crawled out. Later on he broke his leg too in an accident. 
    The flower shaped alien likes Andrew and decides to keep him as a companion.
