After the death of his parents, Nixon Sommers tries to attempt suicide by jumping off a bridge in the middle of the night. Though, just as he does, someone jumps in to save him. Now, three months later, Nixon still hasn't told anyone of the incident, not even his older brother who's been his sole guardian since their parents died. It's a secret that he never plans on reliving, and a secret that he never plans on telling. All he wants to do is forget that it happened and focus on the one thing he enjoys most-hockey. He just has one problem. James Kingsley, the captain of Nixon's hockey team. The same guy who saved him from jumping off the bridge that one night.
