Behind Me

After one failed marriage, Renee Morrison picks up her life and meets Ted Willis. She thinks she's found love again, and maybe this time, the future will be kinder to her. That is, of course, until Ted's ex-girlfriend, Jessica comes back into his life, harassing the couple. The threats began on social media and, shortly after, move to real life as Jessica starts showing up at Renee's job, sends explicit messages to Renee's boss, which creates tension for her at her workplace. Jessica doesn't stop there; she shows up at their house, trying to push her way inside, sits in her car watching them, and was even caught peeping into their windows. Despite the police being called multiple times, not much was done to prevent her from coming back. The couple then looks to the court system to request a restraining order, only for it to be denied by the judge, leaving them at a loss as for what to do next. One thing was for sure, though; Jessica would stop at nothing to get what she wants: Ted. And she doesn't care what she has to do to get it, even if that means getting Renee out of his life, for good.
