The Isle of Holt was once known for peace and harmony. But it all changed when Duke Baldric died and his brother, Lord Richard took his place. Lord Richard has already stolen enough from her family, and Avelina won't grant him anymore. But everything is changed when a stranger claiming to be the dead Duke Baldric's son steps foot on the Isle.
With duties to fulfill and a passion for freedom, Peter and Avelina join forces to fight against Lord Richard. And neither one can deny the growing attraction between them.
