Stranded in space after the defeat of Lotor, the Red Lion strangley Leads the paladins to a wrecked Galra ship that seemed to have been abandoned for Decafeebs.
They discover a new being, so powerful that in a desperate attempt to save the paladins, she brings back the Castle of Lions.
But they soon discover that the horrible creatures of her past follow her as they are plunged into a new war with even greater threats than Hagaar or Zarkon.
But she also brings along striking truths about herself, and some of the other paladins who were oblivious to who they really were, their true greatness.

The Paladins of Voltron are missing, only Coran Shiro, and Princess Allura got out of that battle. The black lion was the only one to make it back to the castle. Then lions Green, Blue, Red, and Yellow where all taken with their Paladins. The green Paladin hasn't been heard from longest, Katie was separated due to her scientific mind and technological mind/ insight. The only thing know about her, is that she is never in the same prison too long. Keith was put in a cell only drones can access, due to his Galra roots. Lance is on the same ship as Keith, but in a standard cell, he is just trying to figure out a way to get him and Keith free. Hunk already escaped, and got his lion, he has been making a b-line for the Balmera and Shay. He was in the lowest security cell, so broke out pretty easily. The Galaxy has been searching for their heroes, the Paladins of Voltron, and they get closer every day. The Garrison have been trying to get in contact with the Paladins for years now, unaware that those who they need to rescue them, are the ones in need of rescuing.
