Basic Plot Outline: John never dies, Alexander still falls for Eliza and now with the war won, Hamilton and Laurens back in each other's arms they can now build their country hand in hand. All historical events are the same except for the Reynold ordeal which will be replaced with different events relating to John and Alex's relationship.

Prologue rough draft: Yorktown Virginia, 1781 the fighting stopped as everyone saw the young man in redcoat stood on a parapet waving a white flag. George Washinton extended his hand-held telescope as a smile slid onto his face, Alexander let out a slow breath 'we won' he thought 'John, please be alive' 'be alive for me'. The battle continued in South Carolina, Combahee River; sleep-deprived and ill John Laurens fought fiercely 'please be alive Alexander, I will be back for you soon'. With a peace treaty negotiated Hamilton and Laurens reunited and now they could hold true to their words ' I wish I could have you forever' 'you can'. Their work was not done, on the battlefield, yes but now it was time to build the nation they fought to free.
