Behind Closed Doors

Married life isn't all that it's cracked up to be. When Kansas married the love of her life right out of college, she thought she had everything. Five years into their marriage something changed inside Braxton. He was becoming shorter tempered, possessive and violent. She chalked it up to stress at work and the fact that they had been trying for a baby for six months, with no success.

His temper gets worse as the months go by. One night it becomes too much and she ends up in the hospital. She finally decides that enough is enough and leaves.

Eight months later she's settled in a new state with a new start. She's working as a Paramedic and things are going good. While working a late shift she answers a call for domestic abuse. The call hits close to home, but she finds out the victim is a man named Archer and she feels an instant attraction towards him.

Would being with someone who's gone through what she did make it easier for her to open up? Or will she keep the past in the past? What happens when she finds out her ex-husband is getting closer to finding her?
