Banou is the heir to the throne of the Siberian Tribe. She is to find her mate on the day of her coronation but she doesn't. Her people instantly revolt against her because she cannot lead them without a mate. Banou flees for her life to another tribe and eventually finds her mate there. Their union is forbidden. Issues keep arising in the life of Banou and her existence and that of her tribe's is threatened when a century old witch- Laelia, comes after them. She would stop at nothing to bring about the death of the one destined to kill her (Banou).
