All his life, Kian has known nothing but trauma. As an omega, he was abused all his life and was told that he had one sole purpose: to be used by others. He was taught to be silent, apologetic, and obedient. He's broken rules and paid the price, yet still, he breaks one of the biggest rules his pack had set: Do Not Leave. He and four of his closest friends manage to escape, and while he was terrified at first, this huge action opens a door to a journey he could never imagine.

Bridger Levoh never wanted to be a beta. He was destined to become one when he was born around the same time as his alpha, Arron. His entire life has been the shadow of his alpha; they are forced to be stuck together like glue. Despite this, he and Arron have entirely different viewpoints - some of which Bridger simply cannot agree to disagree with. He is tired of how things are and knows that if he were an alpha, he would dedicate his entire life to changing the system. He's tired of hearing about omegas dying at the hands of their pack, being abused, and being tortured. He's done his research; he knows that omegas are important. But how can he make change when barely anyone agrees with him? He can't. At least, that was until he met Kian. Their meeting makes possible what many consider impossible:
