There is twelve core values of the human, each represented by a warrior, each honoured in a festival on the last day of their "prevailing time period." Though it is largely regarded as a myth and the stuff of uban legend, others believe in it with theit whole heart. These warriors, though never seen, possess a myriad of unique abilities, and a predisposition to a place in history forever. Or, so it should have been. Only a certain tome, hidden in the City of Heaven, can slaughter a warrior. But when the Warrior of Purity does not send an offering for their festival that year, something is suspected to be amiss. No offerings have arrived since.
