Pearl struggles with the confines of reality as she faces changes to her life that very well could tip her over the edge. This is a work in progress, if u have suggestions, critiques (pls don't be mean tho), or are confused about something, please tell me. I am always looking to improve and if I ever finish this, i do hope to publish. I am a grammer nazi myself, so if u find something off about my grammer or spelling, then pls tell me. Some of it is subject to writing style preference, but most of it is probably not

"I'm tired. I'm tired of this, of everything, and what I am most tired of is being forgotten by you. If there is a next time, I will be the one who forgets." As her eyes closed, the memories vanish along with her and the passing time. "I was wrong! I was wrong! I'm sorry! Open your eyes! Cui'er, please wake up!" Her soul fades as the light floats up like bubbles and wanes into the darkness. She is gone. He holds her body, left with only an empty shell, he holds on and cries. "I once told you that I would never leave you yet now I'm the one who is left behind." His tears streams down, gentling as they fall upon her face. Then suddenly he screams to the sky, "Cui'er, I promise you, the next life, I will find you, and even if I am something entirely different, the debt that I owe you shall be repaid." The memories of the mind can be fragile, easily dissolvable into nothing. Yet some things are forever entrenched into the soul, never to be erased. ____________________________________________________________________________________ This is my original story, not a translation. btw, there's a spinoff ٩(˃̶͈̀௰˂̶͈́)و
