Emilie Fay has been best friends with Skye Duncan for most of their lives. Even after a year away, she's just the same-old Skye--just much more tanned. Emilie trusts Skye with everything, except for the fact that her teensy childhood crush on Skye's brother wasn't so teensy. In fact, Emilie's still trying to get over it. Which is why she decides to make her summer a sort of Forest Duncan cleanse. Emilie knows that she's pretty bright, but when it comes to Forest she's never exactly thought straight.
Forest always thought of Emilie as a second little sister, and he wouldn't hesitate to make anyone who hurt her think twice about it. The problem is that he's thought about it himself--over and over. Forest knows he's not a good guy--he's way too messed up for that--but how can he blame the idiots she brings around for wanting exactly what he does?
Emilie and Forest are both on missions to be better people this summer. The problem is, they don't exactly have the same definition of "better".
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
