Grey

Community 2130, named for the year it was founded, is one of the last remaining civilization on earth. All of the richer communities have left for a new planet because of the pollution that has all but destroyed the planet they once held so dear. They say the ships will return to collect the remaining people, but Caylee is growing inpatient .

I wrote this for a short story contest but the word limit was 400 words and it was too long so I posted it here.
