The small, Shiekah village, known as Kakariko Village, home to the Great Impa, Sage of Shadow. But what was it's past like? And what exactly came to make the Shadow Temple and the Well so frightening and haunted? When a young man goes mad, two people must find a way to save both him and the country of Hyrule. 

Well hi ^_^ This is my first Fan Fiction so please be nice :D I might not update that regularly but I do try my best. It's *obviously* about Shadow Temple and Kakariko Villages past. All the characters *except Impa* are mine. The place names *except for Death Valley* do not belong to me and belong to the original makers of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Prologue (Zelda's Pov) Link was out on a trip, hanging with his 'brothers' like always. I, laid in my bed fast asleep. Our parents have passed on, but I didn't mind at all a both them. I gazed a my golden crest, then sighed. Link was always hanging out with his friends, but me, a princess? I stay inside all alone with only my caretakers and maids. Yes, I held one of the Triforce shards, but I wished to Hylia, my grand ancestor, about a wish that I desired for all of my life. I wanted love from someone who'd like me. Sadly, I was 14 years of age, so that limits my options. I can't just simply pick the right man to be with me. I heard a knock on the door, breaking me from my trance of thought. Link came to see me as he displayed his loyalty to me. "Link, what do you desire?," I got up from my chair while brushing off the dust. "Princess, there shall be a game of sport coming this afternooon. All the males have been chosen for the competion, but they wait for your lead. What do you desire?"

He stopped in his tracks. Something was approaching. He pressed himself against the Kakariko cliffs nearest the graveside, not moving until long after the steps were gone. A holy light shone from within the graveyard, and a young woman laid sobbing in its stones. When his eyes met her, he could have sworn she'd taken his life for her littlest. ~~ He stood on the edge, glancing towards the castle his father had once been honored at. He looked just like him. He didn't think he'd ever be able to return to his birthplace. But that was fine. Mom probably can't either. ~~ It's been many years now. Everyone who was there is no longer here. It's impossible to move on, but there isn't even a fragment of the past left. She's been told never to head there, but she saddles her horse. ~~ The Calamity took thousands of lives, but it left behind thousands of others. A sister, a wife, a best friend, a son. They move away from each other, and some move from the places they were, all for closure and to remember without the pain. Over one hundred years does history fade to legend, but the faithful continue to tell the legends, not just of one hundred years ago, but of all the stories from it.

The Legend of Zelda: The Dark Agenda by spawnoftyphon

Far in the future, Link and Ganondorf battle in broken world, a fusion of the 'child' and 'adult' timelines. Hyrule is ravaged and all inhabitants, even Ganon's minions, have abandoned their homes due to fear of Link and Ganon's conflict. A Demigod takes advantage of their weakened states and places power inhibitors on their necks, forcing Link and Ganon to work together. This is an old fanfic from 2014. Keep in mind that this is not written as a thoroughly as novel, so this story does not have detailed descriptions of environments or senses. This is written as a plot synopsis/script for a video game premise. I have written this plot in such a way that it can easily fit into the far future of any Zelda timeline. (I should mention that I do have a copyright on this plot, not all of the characters. Because the plot I have written can fit into any JRPG video game, I acquired a copyright by swapping out all of Zelda's characters, places and terms with other names. However, the Demigod (his personality and goals) is my creation as well (ergo, also under the copyright) since he is a character that is from one of my novels. I know that my plot would essentially be a Zelda rip-off as it is, so I would not sell it on that basis. I have a copyright on the plot just in case, so no one can just randomly try to steal it without giving me proper compensation.)

The Legend of Zelda: Blood and Spirit by MiniJen

The surface was supposed to be safe again with Demise defeated, however, its anything but. In the shadows of the uninhabited land lurk rebel Sheikah, who call themselves the Dark Interlopers, who plot against Hylia's human reincarnation, Zelda, and her loyal hero, Link, in secret, building up power to take them both down. Around the same time, Link and Zelda come across a land parallel to the surface, a strange country called Termina, protected by the goddess Terminus. Terminus begs them to help her subdue the mighty Fierce Deity, who was once the goddess's hero before he was corrupted by the demon Majora. Link fights the Deity and defeats him, but he is wounded in the battle and filled with the demon's corruption himself. As he and Zelda return to their own land, the hero slowly starts losing himself mentally and physically, ultimately putting Zelda's life in danger as he tries to fight against something he cannot control. To make matters worse, the Dark Interlopers soon launch a massive attack against the two of them, capturing Zelda and leaving Link for dead. He is found and saved by the mysterious Sheik, the leader of the Sheikah who are still loyal to Hylia. With both the surface and the sky in great danger, the hero must fight to save them and the goddess once more, all while fighting the corruption that he is falling ever deeper into. Post Skyward Sword. references Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess. Rated T for violence, blood, and other things. Involves HUGE amounts of ZeLink shipping. Book 1 of the Bound Destinies Trilogy.

Elyza looked past her village to the land beyond. She saw the Dueling Peaks. She had never left Necluda. Even Kakariko Village seemed far away. Now, looking at it, it didn't seem so far. She looked the other direction. She saw what looked like a big...tower. Huh? Has that always been there? Elyza thought. I don't think I've seen that before. Ever. When did that get there? And... why is it glowing orange? A story that follows the storyline of Botw but we gave Link some friends (my ocs). :) Pretty angsty in places. Also, this was the first fanfiction I ever wrote and while I have edited it some, the beginning is not that great, but it gets better, promise.
