Usually, the miraculous ladybugs would undo these kinds of unfortunate predicaments, however, Ladybug's earrings were damaged due to a misused Cataclysm. It's all the more uncomfortable when there are rumors floating around that Cat Noir is a pervert. After a hasty reveal, and with a mirrored version of herself, Marinette only had one choice: Pass of Cat Noir as her distant cousin, Bridgette, until Tikki can repair her miraculous.
