"What are we?" "I don't know." "Neither do i." "You are playing with fire." ------------------------------------ Things turned upside down at Broken Arrow High when Shadow the Hedgehog, or named as Shadow Hunter, returns back. His arch nemesis, Blaze the Cat, named as Blaze Miller, is extremely flustered by his arrival. Despite the fact they absolutely can't stand each other, they reside in the same locality, as neighbours. Sometimes they're on the verge to kill each other and other times they can't keep their hands off each other. Will they realise their true feelings beyond the sea of hatred and competition? This is my story for the fanfiction contest - @ShadougeTeam (Shadouge Official). For those who have never read Sonic (Archie) comics I suggest reading issues 193-195, will help to understand some points of this story. Due to the deadline to submit the fanfic, I had to make changes to the original ideas I had for the story. Flashbacks were shortened and were counted by the characters themselves. Sonic and all of his friends all started out as some cell. All different and built with different atoms. Growing in tubes, inspected, and observe for testing. Of course there is no harm to them whatsoever. The scientists take care of them, they all act like family, no harm... and especially no suffering. Until there is a new CEO of the company, everything changes... is it for the better, or for the worst? Read to find out!
