A brutal raid leaves a wolf cub the lone survivor of his village, and, overcome with rage, Fearne swears to stop at nothing to take what he deserves. Vengeance. But how far is he willing to go? And, how stained will he let his hands become?

With no Sovereign King to lay claim to the throne of Cithirus, The Western Kingdoms have become marred with political unrest. In the midst of the imbalance and civil war, The Northerners made their move and swept in with armies of unfathomable size. They burned through the West, destroying everything in their path, until King Ekin, the head of House Dawn, united the Western Houses to drive them out. Now, Western armies stand toe-to-toe with the North on their border, as stray remnants of wolves still ravage the Western Peoples.
