Tessandale forest has been dubbed "haunted" for as long as I can remember. Whenever I ask about it, people act like they never heard me. All I know is that anyone that goes in that forest never comes out. It's strange. The entire town is strange. I've been researching this place since middle school, but everything I have is conspiracy theories and plain guesses. The people here are hiding something, and I'm going to find out what.

It wasn't very difficult to plan out my first victim. I watched them all day, studied their movements, listened to their conversations, and watched them fall asleep. In Haltonshaw Grove, we tell these real life horror stories to our kids like bedtime tales. They help us learn from a young age to stay out of the forest after dark. But one halloween, we didn't listen- Me and four boys. We broke the rules and we paid the price. We barely made it out alive and now we live with the trauma, the nightmares, the memories. Seven years later, the events of that night, like most things tend to do around here, have come back to haunt us. We never talked about the night we ran in the forest, never spoke afterwards at all really, but now we're going to need each other if we're going to survive what's coming.
