Chloe Bellemy's life takes a turn for the worst after experiencing a dramatic plane crash that results in the death of her parents and older sister. She and her little brother, Tommy, were among the eleven people who survived the crash. They move across the country to a small town near Boston to stay with some distant relatives. Chloe must learn to get past the tragic loss of her family and live her life. Just when she had slipped into the background at her new high school and thought she had everything figured out, she meets a boy who completely turns her life upside down. She knows he is not good for her, but that only makes her more intrigued. Who is he? Why is he so different from everyone else? Could they ever be together? Chloe must try to mend the hole within her heart from that fateful crash if she ever wishes to love.
