Since creation, humankind has promptly freaked out over three big truths: the existence of the omnipresent Writer, the World apparently being a massive hibernating lifeform, and the roving voice in the sky, known as the Narrator, solely existing to entertain the other gods at humanity's expense.

The Narrator's newest adventurer is Horluf, a poor man in a big city with a chance to win a fortune. Before anything good happens, the Narrator's all-knowing knowledge falters and things take a turn for the worst, right before more adventurers tie themselves into the story. There's Dun, who needs a fortune of his own to pay off a mobster; Sinclair, a mute and loyal friend with brave intentions; John Carl, a theatrically-merry debt collector and proud owner of a sharp axe; and an impossible "metal man," who really isn't any more absurd than the otherworldly servant with a slight memory problem. With varied levels of enthusiasm, they decide to seek out a haunted treasure with a bizarre and violent past, while the Narrator makes do with a tale that continually strays further away from what was ever intended.

(A Narrator's Tale: The Dubious Efforts of Poor Men is a comic-fantasy / meta-fiction novel. What you see here on Wattpad is a SAMPLE of the full novel of the same name. I have included as much as possible--10% of the story--so that I may be able to at least share that much. See the first "part" of this story for more details.)

[MALE READER IN REVERSE 1999] - 𝗦𝗟𝗢𝗪 𝗕𝗨𝗥𝗡 FANFIC "𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙩, 𝙣𝙤 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚, 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙣𝙤𝙬" ---------------------✸✸✸✸✸✸✸✸✸✸-------------------- It can be challenging to get used to the behaviour of the people in this era but it's important to remember that they are just trying to survive in their own unique way. You never know what they're going through, and a little kindness goes a long way. Time travelling can be quite an experience. It is fascinating to see how things were in the past. For instance, it may be difficult to understand why people behave in certain ways or communicate with different accents, like Ring. Therefore, keep an open mind and embrace the possibility of learning something new. With the right attitude and determination, one can navigate through these challenges and make the most out of this time travelling adventure. There are always those who do not seem to understand the gravity of the situation. Y/N may be an arcanist, or perhaps something else entirely. However, his disregard for the seriousness of time travel can have devastating consequences, and it is impossible to protect the timeline from his reckless behavior. Every decision he makes is like the butterfly's effect where a single flap can cause the 𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘀𝘁 on the other side of the world. So beware, for Y/N may be your saving grace... or the undoing of this universe as you know it. A massive 'What-if', when certain figures associated with 'The Storm' met the Timekeeper? Merry-Go-Round /A choose-Your-Own-Crue:venture Book. by kajomon
101 parts Complete Mature
Ever hear of those old choose-your-own-adventure books? Well, here's one for you Crue style. If you're not familiar with my writing and other books on Wattpad, this may not be your thing. Fair warning, I write Crue x Crue. This book banks off my first 3 books. While they're not necessary to read, you'll get a better idea of the characters, backdrop, and their history if you read them. The band just completed rehab, all are clean and sober. Nikki, in particular is excited to start work on their next album. The problem is, their new record producer has his studio in Vancouver, BC. Nikki insists that the band needs to relocate there in order to make the best album ever. And it also means leaving their women at home. Mick and Vince aren't happy about this. They just got out if rehab, and now have to leave their women behind? Tommy, well he's another story. While he hates to have to leave his wife, he pretty much OK with it because of his secretive relationship with bandmate, Nikki. You choose where to take their adventures. *If you're reading this, as of this time, only one half of the book has been completed. This book has to be uploaded all in one shot in order for it to work. However, this has been a much bigger project than I ever anticipated. I realized that I can get away with a half upload, while I work on the rest. As of now, when you get to your first place in the book where you choose, you can only choose the side I finished. But all you choices there on out are complete and wull bring you through the adventure.

What is reality? I was John-now Charlie, a woman with a VR game tester's cunning and a professional whiskey enthusiast's attitude. But then AIs have risen, and my job evaporated faster than last night's drink. Just when I hit rock bottom, this punk kid-barely old enough to shave-dropped a bombshell: "Reality's just a simulation." Sure, buddy. I laughed it off. Until I woke up twenty years in the past. Now, thanks to a hacking mishap, I'm a regular girl in reality-with a debt and an attitude-navigating Rimelion, the VR game I once mastered, as Charlie, an elven priestess with more than a few tricks up her sleeve. Seriously though, fighting in high heels? Will I claw my way up the nobility ladder? Dominate the rankings? Outwit the government and their plans to exploit us all? Maybe. But something's off. The game feels too real. My memories don't line up, and everyone has their own version of what's true. Simulation? Reality? The lines are a blur-and I'm stuck in the middle. If I want to stop a dystopian future, I'll need allies, both in-game and out. Oh, and avoid ticking off the AIs hunting me for bending the rules. Survival's a long shot-but I was never one to play fair anyway. *** What to expect: - Light LitRPG story with an emphasis on strategy and world-building - First-person perspective (and occasional close third POVs) - A witty protagonist with a conversational sarcastic, humorous and often self-deprecating voice - A sci-fi world with mysteries sprinkled with fantasy elements - A rich game world system with kingdoms, rules, exploits, and challenges - Supporting characters with personal goals Schedule: * Posting on RoyalRoad and Scribblehub, here after bulk is done

Highest Ranking: #1 in Humor [FEATURED, SEPT-OCT] An idealistic poet refuses to budge from the last parcel of land a developer needs to acquire in order to build a shopping mall. (Literary satire with pop culture references and environmental themes.) synopsis: The Myth of Wile E. is a riff on the modern obsession with fame and acclaim, as well as a mediation on the artist's place in the modern world, as seen through the eyes of a naive poet who is made simultaneously pathetic and heroic by the pursuit of a singular goal. In this novel, we meet an assortment of eccentric monomaniacs, from mushroom hunters in search of a legendary truffle, to birders pursuing a possibly-extinct bird, to competitive Duck Stamp artists, to "the World's Foremost Living Statue"...and even a very stubborn spider. Meanwhile, our narrator--a terrible, yet persistent, poet--battles a ruthless land developer who's determined to acquire the poet's humble property, in an escalating battle of wills that spirals out of control when the media gets involved. With these quirky events as a backdrop, we gradually learn of the misfortunes that befell each member of the poet's family in their various misguided quests for glory. We also learn why money makes the world go flat, why talent is a white elephant, and what it means for parents to love their children "to pieces." Some of my influences are Richard Brautigan (especially), Christopher Moore, Kurt Vonnegut, Tom Robbins, and George Saunders, so if you like any of them, I hope you'll enjoy this, too.

A place abundant with magic and full of different races such as Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Witches and Wizards. I've taking inspiration from some of my favorite well known sources to bring this story to life. Some of them include The Lord of the Rings, The Witcher, Eragon and even Harry Potter. If you enjoy epic fantasy stories then I think you'll enjoy my story The Chronicles of Arnora: The Curse of the Blood Moon. This is an original story of my own creation with my own original characters. Before I started publishing my story on Wattpad I've had several people read it and they've told me it was good and they enjoyed reading it and I hope you all enjoy it as well. I've always been told I have a very active and creative imagination and I should use that i it a like and follow for more chapters to come. Please feel free to point out any grammatical errors you find that I may have missed as I'm constantly editing the story to make it better. *If any names in my story are that of real world people it's completely coincidental, I use a random name generator, which creates countless names, to help with the naming of some of my characters.

PROLOGUE: Thanks, I Hate Being Welcomed To The Villain's World. (COMPLETED) ______________________________________ The misadventures of Prefect Kat, the 19-year-old ace lesbian isekai'd into a school full of problematic pretty-boys, armed with only her lack of f*cks and knowledge from years of mental health treatment. Will she survive? Will she ever get home? Will this damn cat ever stop causing problems? How long will it be until she even SEES another woman? Please, she is so gay and so, so lonely. ______________________________________ Writing the events of Twisted Wonderland as if I (or at least a version of myself that would actually progress the story) were the main character. CW: Swears (I swear like a sailor), descriptions of violence (describing in-game events; my style gets pretty prosey.) A lot of artistic license/minor worldbuilding/details/etc. Probably no ships; definitely no selfships or MC/OC+Canon ships or whatever you wanna call it. If there are ships, they're gonna be more subtext than anything else. If I go too OOC with ur faves I'm sorry, I'm doing my best but I'm dumb and mostly just try to get the 'vibes' right for each character; also might comedically exaggerate some traits for Shenanigans purposes sometimes. I own nothing besides myself; all characters/settings belong to Disney and Yana Toboso, etc., etc., pls no class-action lawsuit I have no money
