It had been a fairly normal day when he found the kitten, so small and innocent, abandoned on the side of the road, but, as luck would have it, that was only the start of his panic, the one that lead to him inevitably breaking up with his girlfriend. God, did he feel childish. Still, those dreams were an excellent reminder he was not a child, no matter how much he hated them.
