Asgard seeks to end the possibility for the greatest destruction to ever hit the world. To do this they need one thing from Edwin, his broken pocket watch. But it the one thing he never wants to give up, even at the cost of his life. Wonderland, even more mysterious than Asgard, wants the pocket watch for a much different reason. Though, very few, even among those at Wonderland, seem to know what the Queen of Hearts is thinking. Everything’s at stake for Edwin. He has two choices that he can make: he can either run now and fight it later, or hand over the most precious thing to him. Just when he’s about to take the latter, to save his dearest friend, he reads a letter from someone he thought would never come back that rips his heart apart, but gives him the courage to face a reality that he never knew he was so much a part of.

What if....Loki never went to the dungeons. What if... Frigga convinced Odin to send him back to Midgard. The Loki that arrived back, though, had no memory of Asgard. No memory of 2012 and certainly no desire to rule. He lived a new, quiet life. Always feeling different. Always slightly unfulfilled. Now, in this alternate timeline, Thor desperately needs him to help fight the end of Asgard. He sends a Valkyrie to retrieve him. Convince him who he is and to come back. That Valkyrie had one job. And it wasn't to fall in love. But she did.
