Being hunted down by animatronics for months, she makes it, but her friends go missing from the bunker. She has two choices, but what will she pick? "Okay I'll give you three seconds then I'll shoot if you don't start talking." "Fine, fine, fine, shit, calm down, would ya? Jeez." Kayn shakes his head and walks back to the couch. He throws himself down and relaxes while his legs are resting on the coffee table. "You humans are so grumpy," Kayn complains. "Are you human?" I ask. "So many questions, I don't even get a chance at answering to them. On top of that, you're stressing me out with that revolver. I can't handle this situation, Gianna." I walk closer to him, a little baffled by his calm, joyful, teasing, attitude. "I'll put it down," I start and sit down on the floor. "But if you don't talk, I won't think twice on shooting this time." I'm rewarded with a smile. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Gianna's life is starting to go back to normal after the tragic passing of her mother. Well, as ordinary as it gets for someone who's spent her life behind the gates of a classified facility. Gianna isn't fond of her father's experiments but she doesn't know how to stop him. Mr. Clermont is a persuasive man. This is until the enchanting man called Kayn shows up at the facility, claiming he's from the near galaxy called Andromeda. Kayn starts to share one too many secrets about the death of Gianna's mother. To then give her a proposition, a favor for a favor, that might change the world we live in forever. Xalune - Echoes from the past
In a dystopian world, where the strongest prevails, having peace is a luxury. Especially when someone from the past is out to destroy everything we have built up over the past 15 years. And with Christmas approaching, our group get to face ten hellish days. Preview: In his fury, the chains have rubbed his wrists and neck raw, despite me trying to calm him down. He suddenly calms down when the screams in the cell next to us switch to the sound of bones breaking. Now he sits with foam on his lips and his eyes wide, looking that way. After ten minutes, the sounds of the boys in our cell have died down, and we all look at the wall that separates us from the crackling of the breaking bones. And then suddenly all is quiet. After a few silent minutes, our cell door opens slowly. From the ball of light from the ceiling, the little girl in the doorway is illuminated. She is completely covered in blood and doesn't move. Then she opens her eyes and carefully walks towards us. And despite everything, my first impulse is to crawl backwards, away from the unnatural calm radiating from her. ------------- After reading yet another great older brothers/younger sister story, where the family gets reunited after years of separation, the sister keeps the secret that she was abused and assaulted all along, and the brothers conceal their work in the mafia, I decided to give it also a try. The output of my story was initially to turn this around with openness and unconditional support and the torture should happen right in front of their very eyes. Because no story is complete without the (un)necessary bloodshed, action, humour and, of course, a bad guy. And who knows, to throw everything completely upside down, the main character may not survive. I won't write warnings above each chapter, because most of them contain violence, blood, torture, etc. Constructive criticism is welcome. Ow, and English is not my first, second or third language. So if I mess up somewhere, let me know!

The technology of their predecessors looks like magic to them, but that won't stop the human urge to understand it all. Then, one day a young man was inherited a mask, and entrusted the task of repair it. A mask that hides a secret that will affect the future of them all. At what lengths would he go to fulfill a promise? What enemies will he face? Which allies will he make? And more importantly of all. What is the cost to pay? I would really appreciate if you give a little of time to comment your opinion of every chapter, and it would help me a lot if any typo, continuity error, or some writing advice you can make. This is my first story and I very exited to see how it goes! I would also really appreciate likes and shares, I don't actually know if likes affect how the story performance, if it does then I would really appreciated and if not then I always welcome free internet points, in the case of shares, I know is a little harder to do so, but that definitely helps me a lot! Everyone was evacuated from the home planet over 150 years ago. Our planet was dying, it was only a matter of time before our race was wiped out. We now live on a synthetic planet designed and built by our ancestors who came together from all parts of the globe to devise a plan to save us. We have lived peacefully for over a century.. Until now. Our lives were threatened when a mysterious and deadly virus broke out, killing entire communities at a time. The council says that they have a plan; they said that in order to prevent the death of more innocent people they will test every man, woman, and child for signs of the virus. Any person found to have been infected will be quarantined, the ones who die will be given a proper burial while the ones who survive are deemed carriers and are to be sent to the home planet to prevent further outbreak. I was prepared for the people I know and some I love being taken away for the greater good, but I never would have expected that among the list of people being taken from my community, that I would be one of them.. I survived the quarantine. Now for the survival of my planet I, and the other Carriers must be sent to the home planet. I'm going back to Earth. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on.
