A woman wakes to find that the life she once lived may not have been lived at all, and life she's now asked to lead doesn't suit her one bit. This is a story of survival and of finding one's place in the world.
NOTE: The themes and greater universe are borrowed from Hugh Howey's Half Way Home, but the characters and setting are not. As such, a reading of the original novel is not required to understand and enjoy this short story. Enjoy!
