alan's never felt pain or sorrow, he's far too spoiled to understand how to feel any of those emotions. he lives in a surreal world where everything makes no sense except for it to do whatever you want, as long as you believe. alan hates this world so much, he would he could escape. chris then enters this world, he's clueless about everything. appearing into a world so synthetic it's almost creepy, he then meets alan. alan is scared of the sudden stranger as chris is feeling the same way, they try to understand each other before understanding this world, together.
