Lakin Brookes is a high school outcast who never listens to anybody! She acts all tough at school but in reality she's the weakest when it comes to her abusive mother. When 4 boys and a girl named Kassie walk into her life, she feels like she can be afraid without being looked at weirdly. She feels like she can be the real her!
