Solomon and Lola's love is perfection personified. Tragically while snorkeling, Lola drowns. Lola's an elite swimmer who once almost made the Olympics. This leaves Solomon confused. However, after her autopsy the police reveal foul play was involved. After decades of no justice for Lola's murder, Solomon's bitterness and grief have overtaken his life. Too, he knows the murderer. It's a family member, but their alibi is unbreakable. Solomon was raised in church, but the death of Lola leads him down a morbidly dark path.
